10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme Jan 2026 (Permanent Commission) Indian Navy

The Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried 10+2 (PCM) students who have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025 for Permanent Commission as Officers in Executive & Technical branches. Selected candidates will undergo 4-year fully-sponsored B.Tech training at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, with degree awarded by JNU. During training, all expenses including tuition fees, books, uniforms, food, and accommodation are borne by the Indian Navy. After successful completion, cadets are commissioned as Permanent Officers in the Executive or Technical branches. The role comes with a competitive salary, free medical facilities for self and family, travel concessions, group insurance, pension, and other retirement benefits. Fees
No application fee for any category of candidates (General, OBC, SC/ST) — the application process is completely free. Candidates simply need to fill the application form and apply online.

Call‑up for SSB Interview is based on JEE Main 2025 All India Common Rank List (CRL) published by NTA.
Physical Standards (minimum)

Height: At least 157 cm with age-correlated weight.

Vision: Distant vision minimum 6/6 (or 6/9 with glasses); no colour or night blindness.

Tattoos: No permanent tattoos allowed except in permitted tribal area exemptions (inner forearms/back of hand).

Applications are shortlisted based on JEE Main CRL rank.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Services Selection Board (SSB) interview at centres like Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, or Visakhapatnam from September 2025 onwards.

Final selection depends on SSB performance, medical fitness, and character verifications.
Salary

Stipend During Training: ₹15,600/month (approx.)

Post Commission (Sub-Lieutenant): ₹56,100 + ₹15,500 MSP + allowances
→ Minimum Monthly Pay after Commissioning: ₹74,000+
