AFMS Medical Officer Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 225 Posts

Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Medical Officers (Short Service Commission - SSC) for the year 2025. Both male and female Indian citizens who have passed their final MBBS examination (not more than two attempts) and appeared in NEET PG (2024/2025) are eligible to apply. Civilian doctors with PG degree are exempted from re-appearing in NEET PG. A total of 225 vacancies are available.

PG Degree Holders: Maximum 35 years (born on or after 02 Jan 1991)

Eligibilty

Qualification

MBBS degree included in the National Medical Council Act, 2019.
Permanent registration with State Medical Council/NMC/MCI.
Postgraduate degree holders recognized by NMC/State Medical Council/NBE are also eligible.
Internship must be completed on or before 31 July 2025.

Shortlisting based on NEET PG percentile (2024/2025):
- Percentile will be proportionately converted into \"calculated NEET PG marks\" out of 200.
Interview (Viva-Voce):
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi Cantt.

Salary / Pay Scale

As per Central Government 7th CPC Pay Matrix + Military Service Pay (MSP) + allowances.
Minimum Salary: ₹85,000/- (approx.) per month
Maximum Salary: ₹1,30,000/- (approx.) per month
