Salary Structure

The initial pay for various posts in Level-1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix is ₹18,000/- per month. In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will be entitled to various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other allowances as per the rules of the Government of India.

Selection Criteria

The selection process for Level-1 posts typically involves the following stages, as per previous recruitment drives, and will be detailed in CEN No. 09/2025:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Candidates will appear for a written examination conducted online.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates qualifying the CBT will undergo a PET to assess their physical fitness.

Syllabus for Computer Based Test (CBT)

The detailed syllabus for the Computer Based Test (CBT) for Level-1 posts will be released along with the full Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 09/2025. Based on previous recruitments, the CBT typically covers the following subjects:

• Mathematics: Number System, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio & Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern.
• General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analogies, Alphabetical & Number Series, Coding & Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation & Sufficiency, Conclusions & Decision Making, Similarities & Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments & Assumptions etc.
• General Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Life Sciences (up to 10th standard CBSE syllabus).
• General Awareness on Current Affairs: Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other important subject.
