Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1972, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification:

• B.C.A./ I.T.I./ Diploma holder from a Polytechnic in Computer Science & Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication.
• A minimum relevant experience of 01 year.

Character: The candidate's character must be such as to render them suitable in all respects for appointment to the service in the High Court. Persons terminated/ dismissed by the Government or convicted of serious offenses will be deemed ineligible.

Physical Fitness: Candidates must be in good mental and physical health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of their official duties.

Marital Status: A male candidate with more than one wife alive or a female candidate married to a person already having a wife alive shall not be eligible.

Selection Process

The selection process will comprise of the following stages:

• Screening/ Preliminary Test (if number of applicants is high): MCQ based, to shortlist candidates for the Written Test. Marks obtained will not be counted for the final merit list. Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40%.
• Written Test: MCQ based, domain-specific knowledge. Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% (80 out of 200).
• Trade/ Skill Test/ Work Proficiency Test: Assesses practical knowledge. Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% (40 out of 100).
• Interview: Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30% (9 out of 30).

Final Merit List: Prepared based on marks secured in Written Test, Trade/ Skill Test/ Work Proficiency Test, and Interview.

Syllabus and Scheme of Examination

The examination consists of the following stages:

[A] Screening/ Preliminary Test (MCQ based) - 100 Marks (2 Hours)

• General Awareness (15 Marks)
• Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude (10 Marks)
• General English (15 Marks)
• Computer Applications (60 Marks)

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40%. Negative marking applies.

[B] Written Test (MCQ based) - 200 Marks (2 Hours)

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 80.

[C] Trade/ Skill Test/ Work Proficiency Test - 100 Marks (1 Hour)

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40.

[D] Interview - 30 Marks

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 9.

Total Marks for Final Merit List Preparation: [B] + [C] + [D] = 330 Marks

9. Preview and submit the application form.
