Selection Process

The selection process will primarily involve a Computer Based Test (CBT) or a written screening test. The test will be of 120 marks and will have a duration of 1.5 hours. For the post of Panchayat Secretary (Job Trainee) (Post code-26005), an additional mandatory and qualifying Typing Test will be conducted.

The minimum qualifying marks for the written screening test are 45% for the General category and 40% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Classes/Wards of Freedom Fighters candidates. These percentages may be relaxed by a maximum of 5% if the number of candidates securing the prescribed marks is less than the advertised posts.

Document verification will be conducted for shortlisted candidates.

Syllabus

Syllabus for Screening Test

The objective type screening test will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark. The syllabus includes:

Subjects/fields up to the level of prescribed essential qualifications.
General Knowledge: Including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh and Current Affairs.
Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English & General Hindi: Matriculation standard.

Skill Test for Panchayat Secretary (Job Trainee) Post Code-26005: A skill test on computer with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi is mandatory and qualifying in nature.

Salary Criteria

Panchayat Secretary (Job Trainee): Consolidated fixed amount of ₹12,500/- per month.
Medical Social Worker (On Regular basis): Pay Scale Rs. 10300-34800 + GP ₹3800 (Pre-revised).
Psychiatric Social Worker (Job Trainee): Monthly fixed amount of ₹17,500/-.
Operation Theatre Assistant (Job Trainee): Monthly fixed amount of ₹18,000/-.
Radiographer (Job Trainee): Monthly fixed amount of ₹18,000/-.
Pharmacist/Pharmacy Officer (Job Trainee): Monthly fixed amount of ₹18,000/-.
Speech Therapist (Job Trainee): Monthly fixed amount of ₹17,500/-.
Senior Laboratory Technician/MLT Gr.-II (Job Trainee): Monthly fixed amount of ₹18,000/-.
