Selection Process

• Single-Stage Written Exam (CBT):
  • Format: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Weightage: 25 Marks (General Subjects) + 75 Marks (Technical / Trade Knowledge).
  • Negative Marking: None (Zero marks deducted for wrong answers).
• Merit List Formation: Selection is based entirely on marks obtained in the written examination. Normalization will be applied if the exam is conducted in multiple shifts.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • UR / EWS: 50%
  • SC / ST / OBC / PH: 40%
• Document Verification (DV): Final selection depends on successful verification of all documents with the details filled in the online application form.
• Final Appointment: Appointment will be subject to medical fitness and completion of the 3-year probation period (70%–80%–90% salary rule).

Syllabus

Exam Pattern: The exam consists of 100 objective-type questions to be completed in 2 hours. There is no negative marking.

Detailed Syllabus: Part A (25 Marks)

• General Knowledge: Madhya Pradesh Geography, Rivers, Tourism, Forts, Important Personalities, History and Current Affairs.
• General Hindi: Sandhi, Samas, Paryayvachi, Vilom, Muhavare, Sentence Correction.
• General English: Tenses, Active/Passive Voice, Direct/Indirect Speech, Synonyms, Antonyms, One Word Substitution, Common Errors.
• General Mathematics: Profit & Loss, Percentage, Average, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Work, Simplification.
• General Science: Basics of Physics (Reflection/Refraction), Chemistry (Acids/Bases), Biology (Human Anatomy, Diseases).
• Reasoning: Analogies, Number Series, Coding-Decoding, Logical Patterns.

How To apply

• Visit the official portal of Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board.
• Create MP Profile Registration and obtain a Profile ID.
• Ensure Live Employment Registration (Jeevit Panjiyan) in the MP Employment Office.
• Login using your Profile ID on the MP Online portal.
• Fill the application form and upload required documents.
• Upload photograph, signature, and handwritten declaration.
• Pay the application fee online.
• Submit the form and save the Application Number for future use.

Required Document

• Aadhar Card: Must be linked with an active mobile number for mandatory E-KYC (OTP/Biometric).
• 10th Class Marksheet: Used to verify your exact Name, Father's Name, and Date of Birth.
• Active Mobile Number & Email ID: To receive your Profile ID, Password, and exam updates.
• Official MPESB Template (Single JPEG 150KB–200KB):
  • Photograph: Recent color photo with the candidate’s name and date of photo printed at the bottom.
  • Signature: Clear signature within the provided box.
  • Handwritten Declaration: Two lines written by the candidate in Hindi or English.
• Valid MP Employment Registration: A “Live” Jeevit Panjiyan number from the MP Rozgar Portal.
• Educational Certificates: 12th (PCB) Marksheet and relevant Degree/Diploma (B.Sc Nursing, GNM, B.Pharma, DMLT, etc.).
• Council Registration: Valid registration certificate from the MP Nursing Council or MP Paramedical Council.
• Caste/Category Certificate: Digital certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS (MP residents only) to claim fee relaxation.
• MP Domicile Certificate: Required to prove residency for reservation benefits.
• Disability Certificate (PwD): Required if applying under the PH category.
