Candidates from other states, even if belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS, are to be treated under General category and must pay ₹600.

Age limit

• Minimum: 20 years

• Maximum: 25 years (as of 1 January 2025)

• Reserved Category Relaxations:

  • SC/ST/OBC & General (Female): +5 years (up to 30 years)

Eligibilty

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics (from a recognized university), OR

• B.E./B.Tech in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent degree)

• Additionally: Knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari script) and familiarity with Rajasthani culture

Nationality & Domicile

• Must be an Indian citizen

• Rajasthan domicile certificates may be required for state-level reservation benefits

Physical Standards (Indicative)

• Height: Male ≥ 168 cm; Female ≥ 152 cm

• Chest (Male): 81 cm (minimum), with 5 cm expansion

• Candidates must also pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) as per RPSC standards

RPSC Sub-Inspector (Telecom) Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

1. Written Exam (400 Marks)
   • Paper I: General Hindi (200 marks, 2 hours, 100 MCQs)
     • Topics: Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, idioms, antonyms, spelling, punctuation, prose/poetry.
   • Paper II: General Knowledge & General Science (200 marks, 2 hours, 100 MCQs)
     • Topics: Current affairs, Rajasthan/Indian history, polity, geography, economy, general science, reasoning, environment, S&T, logical ability.
   • Negative Marking: ⅓ mark per wrong answer.
   • Qualifying Criteria: Min. 36% in each paper, 40% overall.
2. Physical Standards & Efficiency Test (PST/PET)
   • Physical Standards:
     • Male: Height ≥ 168 cm, Chest ≥ 81 cm (86 cm expanded).
     • Female: Height ≥ 152 cm, Weight ≥ 47.5 kg.
     • Relaxation for SC/ST and hill-area candidates.
   • Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Scored out of 100; min. 50 marks to qualify.
     • Male: 100m run, long jump, chin-ups.
     • Female: Race, long jump, shot put.
3. Interview/Aptitude Test (50 Marks)
   • Shortlisted candidates (3x vacancies) evaluated on personality, decision-making, integrity, Rajasthani culture, and technical expertise.
   • Bonus marks for higher qualifications, technical skills, or sports achievements.
4. Document & Medical Verification
   • Submit original certificates (qualification, category, domicile, identity).
