Eligibilty

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess the following educational qualifications from a recognized Board/University as per the respective department's requirements. Final year students appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible, but they must acquire the required educational qualification by the date of the examination.

Other Eligibility Criteria:

• Health: Candidates must be in good mental and physical health and free from any mental or physical defect that might interfere with the efficient performance of duties. A medical fitness certificate will be required.
• Character: Applicants must possess good character. A character certificate from the head of the last educational institution attended and two character certificates from responsible persons (not relatives) issued within the last six months will be required.
• Nationality:
  • Citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Salary Details

The pay scale for the advertised posts will be as per the following Pay Matrix Level:

During the probation period, a fixed monthly remuneration will be payable as per the State Government orders. After successful completion of the probation period, candidates will be entitled to the minimum of the pay scale (Pay Matrix Level) of the respective post along with other allowances as per rules.

Selection Criteria

The selection process for Laboratory Assistant and Junior Laboratory Assistant posts will primarily involve a written examination. The key aspects of the selection criteria are:

1. Written Examination: Candidates will appear for a competitive written examination as per the scheme and syllabus detailed in the official notification.
2. Minimum Qualifying Marks: A minimum of 40% marks is required to qualify in the examination. For Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates, this minimum qualifying percentage will be relaxed by 5%.
3. Negative Marking: One-third (1/3) of the marks prescribed for each question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
4. Normalization: If the examination is conducted in multiple shifts/stages, a normalization process will be adopted by the Board.
5. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on the written examination will undergo document verification. Eligibility (age, educational qualification, category, etc.) will be scrutinized based on the information provided in the online application and original documents.
6. Merit-cum-Priority: For posts requiring departmental/post preferences (e.g., for Science Lab Assistants), allocation will be done based on merit within category and the preference order filled by the candidate.
7. Medical Examination: Candidates must be declared medically fit.
8. Character Verification: Character verification will be conducted for selected candidates.

   Visit sso.rajasthan.gov.in and complete One Time Registration by filling category, domicile, and disability details. Pay OTR fee (₹600 / ₹400 as applicable) and upload required documents.

2. Login & Access Recruitment Portal
   Login to SSO ID → Select Citizen Apps (G2C) → Open Recruitment Portal.

3. Apply Online

• Two Papers: Each Paper will carry 200 marks.
