Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board.
Must have at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
Must have at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).

Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) - 2025 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech).
Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2025 published by NTA.

Selection Process

Shortlisting of Applications
- Based on JEE (Main) 2025 All India CRL Rank.
- Naval Headquarters will decide the cut-off.
- Candidates must fill their CRL rank in the application form.
SSB Interview
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via Email & SMS.
- Interviews will be held at:
  - Bangalore
  - Bhopal
  - Kolkata
  - Visakhapatnam
- Scheduled from March 2026 onwards.
Medical Examination
- Applicable as per 10+2 (B.Tech) entry standards.
- No relaxation in medical standards.
Travel Allowance
- AC 3-Tier rail fare reimbursed (first-time SSB for this entry).

A merit list will be prepared based on SSB marks.

Salary Criteria

Selected candidates will be inducted as Cadets and will receive Pay & Allowances as per Indian Navy norms. The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, will be borne by the Indian Navy. Cadets will also be provided with entitled clothing and messing. Selected candidates will be inducted for a four-year B.Tech Course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering as per Naval requirements. On completion of the course, a B.Tech Degree will be awarded by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). The entry scheme itself requires candidates to have appeared for JEE (Main) - 2025, meaning the syllabus for entry is based on the 10+2 pattern (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
