Selection Process

The selection process will involve examinations as detailed in the notification. For most posts, there will be a One Tier Examination (General or Technical/Teaching) consisting of MCQs. Negative marking will be applicable (0.25 marks deduction for each wrong answer). The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured in the written examination. In case of tie-in marks, age and alphabetical order will be considered.

  • For One Tier (General) Posts: General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, Test of English Language & Comprehension.
  • For One Tier (Technical) & One Tier (Technical / Teaching) Posts: Section-A will include General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, Test of English Language & Comprehension. Section-B will consist of MCQs from the concerned subject relevant to the post.
