Review Officer (RO) & Assistant Review Officer (ARO)	Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law in India or an equivalent qualification. Diploma/Degree in Computer Science from a recognized Institution/University, OR 'O' Level Certificate awarded by NIELET/DOEACC Society, OR 'CCC' Certificate in Computer Science. Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing, and Computer Operation. Minimum Typing Speed of 25 Words per minute in English Typing on Computer.
Computer Assistant (CA)	Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law in India or an equivalent qualification. Diploma/Degree in Computer Science from a recognized Institution/University, OR 'O' Level Certificate awarded by NIELET/DOEACC Society, OR 'CCC' Certificate in Computer Science. Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing, and Computer Operation. Minimum Typing Speed of 25 Words per minute in English Typing on Computer.
Preferential Qualifications
General	Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, OR Obtained a 'B' Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).

Vacancy Details 543 Posts

The total number of vacancies(543) for the Review Officer, Assistant Review Officer, and Computer Assistant posts are as follows:

• Review Officer (RO): 138 vacancies
• Assistant Review Officer (ARO): 380 vacancies
• Computer Assistant (CA): 25 vacancies

The number of vacancies may increase or decrease based on the discretion of the Hon'ble Court.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of three stages:

1. Stage-I: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type): General Studies paper. Marks obtained in this stage are for shortlisting for Stage II & III.
2. Stage-II: Mains Examination (Subjective Type): Conventional type paper including Essay Writing, Precis Writing, Translation, and Comprehension. Minimum qualifying marks: 50 out of 150.
3. Stage-III: Computer Knowledge Test (CBT Mode): Reproducing a given text on the computer. Maximum Marks: 50. Duration: 20 minutes. Minimum qualifying marks: 25 out of 50.

Final Merit List: Prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained in Stage-II and Stage-III examinations.

Syllabus

Stage-I: Preliminary Examination (General Studies)

Type: Objective Type (MCQ), OMR Based

Total Questions: 200

Maximum Marks: 200

Duration: 3 Hours (180 minutes)

No Negative Marking.

Topics: General Science, History of India, Indian National Movement, Indian Polity, Economy and Culture, Indian Agriculture, Commerce and Trade, Population, Ecology and Urbanisation (Indian Context), World Geography and Geography and Resources of India, Current National and International Events, General Aptitude, Special Knowledge regarding Education, Culture, Agriculture, Industry, Trade, Living and Social Traditions of Uttar Pradesh, General English and General Hindi of Graduation Level, Elementary Knowledge of Computers.

Stage-II: Mains Examination (Subjective Type)

Type: Conventional type in Pen & Paper Mode

Maximum Marks: 150

Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50 Marks

Sections:

• Section A: Essay Writing in English (approx. 200 words) - 30 Marks
• Section B: Precis Writing in English - 30 Marks
• Section C (i): Translation from English to Hindi - 25 Marks
• Section C (ii): Translation from Hindi to English - 25 Marks
• Section D: Comprehension in English - 40 Marks

Stage-III: Computer Knowledge Test

Type: Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode

Maximum Marks: 50

Duration: 20 minutes

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 25 Marks

Task: Reproduce a given text (approx. 500 words) in English on the computer in the same format.

3. Register yourself by providing basic details to get a Registration Number.
4. Fill in the complete application form with all required details.
5. Upload scanned images of photograph, signature, thumb impression, and relevant certificates.
6. Pay the prescribed application fee online through the available payment methods.
7. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Required Document

• Scanned clear coloured passport photograph (JPG/JPEG, 10 KB–200 KB) with applicant’s name and capturing date.
• Scanned clear signature (JPG/JPEG, 10 KB–100 KB).
• Scanned Left hand thumb impression (JPG/JPEG, 10 KB - 200 KB).
• Scanned Class X or equivalent Certificate as a proof of Date of Birth (JPG/JPEG, 50 KB-300 KB).
• Category Certificate wherever applicable (JPG/JPEG, 50 KB-300 KB).
• Employment Certificate (Optional) (JPG/JPEG, 50 KB-300 KB).
• Valid Govt. ID proof (for verification at the exam center).

• Review Officer: Level-8 (₹ 47600 - ₹ 151100) as per 7th Pay Commission.
• Assistant Review Officer: Level-7 (₹ 44900 - ₹ 142400) as per 7th Pay Commission.
• Computer Assistant: Level-04 (₹ 25500 - ₹ 81100) as per 7th Pay Commission.
