Selection Process

The recruitment for Group-C posts will be conducted strictly in accordance with the CET Policy dated 31.12.2024 and its amendment dated 11.07.2025 (Appendix-D), along with the Haryana Staff Selection Commission Rules 2025 dated 27.05.2025 (Appendix-E).

Pattern of Examination:

  • Total Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): 100
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration of Examination: 1 Hour 45 Minutes

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

  • General Category: 50%
  • Reserved Category (vertical and horizontal): 40%

All questions are compulsory. The question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) and will be an offline (OMR based) written examination. Candidates must fill the corresponding circle in the OMR sheet for their preferred option. If a candidate does not wish to attempt a question, they must fill in the fifth circle/bubble; failure to do so will result in a deduction of one mark.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill and/or written examination based on CET scores. A maximum of ten times the total number of advertised posts will be eligible for the skill and/or written examination. For consideration against a general category post, candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the skill and/or written examination. For reserved category posts, a concession of 10% applies, making the minimum cutoff 40%.

The Commission reserves the right to review the formula for deciding the maximum number of CET qualified candidates eligible for the skill and/or written examination in the future.

Syllabus

The exam consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions to be completed in 105 minutes (1 hour 45 minutes).

How To apply

  • Candidates should carefully read the advertisement, instructions and procedure before filling the online application form.
