- As of January 1, 2027, the minimum age for applicants is 21 years and the maximum age is 40 years.
- Age relaxations will be applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
Eligibilty Criteria

| Educational Qualification | Master's Degree: Master's Degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university. |
| NET/SLET/SET: Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test like SLET/SET. | |
| Ph.D. Exemption: Ph.D. degree holders (as per UGC regulations) are exempted from NET/SLET/SET. | |
| Language & Culture: Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture. | |
| Final Year Students | Eligible to apply but must possess the required qualification by the last date of application. |
| Health | Candidates must be mentally and physically fit and free from any disorder that may hinder their duties. A medical fitness certificate will be required. |
| Character | Candidates must have a good character, attested by their last educational institution and two responsible persons. |

Selection Process Contract
Selection will be based on a written examination conducted by the Board. The exam will consist of two papers:
- Paper I: General Studies of Rajasthan (60 questions, 75 marks, 1 Hour)
- Paper II: Subject concerned with the post (120 questions, 300 marks, 2 Hours)
Total Marks: 375
Note:
- A minimum of 36% marks in each paper and 40% marks in aggregate is required for eligibility. (Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates).
- There will be negative marking (1/3rd deduction for each wrong answer).
