Eligibilty Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• For Posts 1-12 & 14-16: Post Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in the relevant subject with a Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education/Government.
• For Post 13 (Home Science): Post Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC/Indian Council of Agricultural Research in Home Science with a Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education/Government.
• For Post 17 (Biology): Post Graduate or Equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Zoology/Botany/Micro-Biology/Bio-Technology/Life Science/Bio Science (with Botany and Zoology at Graduation level) with a Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education/Government.
• For Post 18 (Commerce): (i) Post Graduate or Equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Commerce with B.Com. OR Post Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Commerce, having at least two teaching subjects for Higher Secondary classes. (ii) Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education/Government.
• For Post 19 (Drawing): Post Graduate or Equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Drawing or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government, or a four/five years' Diploma in Arts from a Government-recognized school/college.
• For Post 20 (Music): Post Graduate or Equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Music or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
• For Post 21 (Physical Education): Graduate or Equivalent examination recognized by UGC and Post Graduate in Physical Education/M.P.Ed. (2 years duration) recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education.
• For Posts 22-27 (Coaches): Graduate or Equivalent examination recognized by UGC with a Degree or Diploma in Physical Education and a Full-term/time National Institute of Sports (NIS) Certificate from any branch.

Additional Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari script.
• Knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Note: Candidates appearing in the final year of the required qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of acquiring the qualification before the exam.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a competitive examination. The RPSC may use scaling, moderation, or normalization methods for evaluating answer sheets. Candidates will be recommended to the state government/appointing authority based on their merit in the written examination.

Syllabus

The examination will consist of two papers:

PAPER-I: General Studies (150 Marks, 1 Hour 30 Minutes)

1. History of Rajasthan and Indian History (with emphasis on Indian National Movement)
2. Mental Ability Test, Statistics (Secondary Level), Mathematics (Secondary Level), Language Ability Test (Hindi, English)
3. Current Affairs
4. General Science, Indian Polity, Geography of Rajasthan
5. Educational Psychology, Educational Management, Educational Scenario in Rajasthan, Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009

PAPER-II: Subject Concerned (300 Marks, 3 Hours)

1. Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Senior Secondary Level
2. Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Graduation Level
3. Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Post Graduation Level
4. Pedagogy, Teaching Learning Material, Use of Computers and Information Technology in Teaching Learning

For Coach positions (Paper II - Sports Concerned):

1. Knowledge of Physical Education & Sports
2. Sports Sciences
3. General Theory and Method of Training
4. Specific Knowledge of Games/Sports and its current affairs

Note: Detailed syllabus will be released separately on the RPSC website. Negative marking will be applicable for wrong answers (1/3rd deduction).

How To apply

1. Visit the RPSC website (rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in) or SSO portal (sso.rajasthan.gov.in).
2. Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process if you are a new user.
3. Login using your OTR number/credentials or SSO ID.
4. Fill out the online application form carefully.
5. Upload required documents, photograph, and signature.
6. Pay the application fee online.
7. Review and submit the application form.
8. Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

Important: All documents should be in the prescribed format and size. Candidates must also bring original documents for verification during the recruitment process.

Salary Criteria

The salary for the selected candidates will be as per Pay Matrix Level L-12 (Grade Pay - 4800/-). During the probation period, a fixed monthly salary will be admissible as per state government rules.
