The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced a recruitment drive for the positions of School Lecturer and Coach across various subjects. This is a significant opportunity for eligible candidates to join the state education department. The application process is entirely online, and interested individuals should carefully review the detailed advertisement before applying.

Sarkari Database Expert Guide: 1st Grade Cadres & Academic Horizons

Securing an appointment as an RPSC 1st Grade School Lecturer or Coach represents a premier career milestone within the secondary education ecosystem of Rajasthan. Entering the department directly mapped to a Pay Matrix Level L-12 frame grants exceptional administrative autonomy, high-tier grade pay (4800/-), and stable promotional tracks leading toward Vice-Principal and Principal cadres over time.

Subject Diversity & Competition Realities:
With a massive matrix of 3,225 vacancies across 27 subjects, the competition footprint varies radically depending on your specific discipline. High-volume subjects like Hindi (710 seats) and Commerce (430 seats) face intense student saturation, making the absolute selection cut-offs exceptionally razor-thin. Conversely, specialized technical portfolios like Drawing (180 seats) or specialized Coaching tracks feature an immensely targeted applicant pool, placing the ultimate focus entirely on precise subject mastery.

The Crucial 40% Minimum Filter Pass:
A severe error made by many postgraduate competitive aspirants is over-focusing on their core Subject Paper-II while neglecting the multi-subject parameters of Paper-I. RPSC enforces a strict mandatory minimum qualifying threshold of 40% across both papers independently (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST cadres). Failing to cross the baseline boundary in the 150-mark General Studies foundation completely invalidates an exceptional performance in your core subject, filtering out casual test-takers from true merit contenders.
